About the Project
SideCare (formerly Hoggo) is a modern platform that helps French companies efficiently manage their employee healthcare plans, streamlining everything from contract selection to daily administrative tasks.
Conception & Strategy
The French healthcare and mutual insurance system is notoriously complex for HR departments. SideCare was envisioned as a unified portal that not only finds the best insurance rates but acts as a complete HR operating system for employee health benefits and compliance.
Design & UX
We focused on creating two distinct, high-quality experiences: an administrative dashboard for HR professionals to manage policies and payroll integrations, and a simplified mobile-first interface for employees to track their coverage and reimbursements effortlessly.
Development & Architecture
Security and data privacy were paramount due to the handling of sensitive medical and payroll information. The backend required robust integrations with various insurance APIs and the French social security framework, built upon a highly secure Node.js and PostgreSQL foundation.
